On a daily basis, hundreds of people take advantage of the Park's safe and beautiful environment for walking and jogging. In winter, the two soccer fields are flooded for ice skating. This is the largest privately-owned park in Detroit.

The building and surrounding park are owned by the members of the North Rosedale Park Civic Association. Maintenance and improvement of the grounds are paid through Civic Association dues and fees from rental of the Community House.
