The Grandmont Rosedale Development Corporation (GRDC) works to preserve and revitalize
the Grandmont Rosedale communities of northwest Detroit. We are a non-profit organization formed and operated by neighborhood
residents who care about our community and want to see it maintained as a great place to live and do business.
Here is a brief summary of our accomplishments so far:
54 vacant houses renovated and sold to new home owners.
95 home improvement loans and grants made to low income home owners.
4 vacant commercial buildings renovated.
37 facade grants made to businesses, improving 78 of the 140 businesses on Grand River.
7 neighborhood parks and school playgrounds renovated.
Graffiti removed from over 500 buildings through our ongoing Graffiti Busters campaign.
Hundreds of volunteers mobilized annually for neighborhood clean up and beautification projects.
Who We Serve
We serve a multi-neighborhood area in northwest Detroit including the Grandmont, Grandmont #1, Rosedale Park,
North Rosedale Park, and Minock Park.
We are governed by a Board of Directors comprised of neighborhood residents and business owners.
Our professional staff ensures that programs are managed efficiently and effectively. Interns, volunteers and other professional
