RECYCLING with ROSEDALE RECYCLES
All of us can do our part to reduce the amount
of waste we generate every day. Residents of the Grandmont Rosedale area have
developed their own, all-volunteer recycling program, ROSEDALE RECYCLES, which has been operating continuously since April
1990.
Materials accepted include newspapers, office
paper, clear and brown glass jars, tin cans, aluminum, brass or copper, #1 and #2 plastics, cardboard (corrugated and brown
or gray interiors) and household batteries. Twice a year household hazardous
waste is also accepted—pesticides, paints, oils, etc.
Bring your materials on the third Saturday of
every month between 10 AM and 2 PM to the ROSEDALE RECYCLES Collection Center, located in the church parking lot of Christ
the King Church, on Pierson, between Grand River and McNichols.
